Jerry Junior and The Bluebirds started their involvement in the music industry in the Verulem/Stanger area. They then moved to regular appearances in Durban mainly at the Himalaya Hotel. Jerry did a fantastic version of Viva Las Vegas, which I wanted to record, but unfortunately did not. Jerry recorded an album called Memories of a Lifetime His great love of music drove him to write and produced music for the Black Birth album which featured a number of well known artists.
