The Blue Ricks

Not as long lasting as the other two Dance Bands, The Blue Ricks, as the resident band at the Himalaya hotel was one of the most popular Dance bands. They played at the Himilaya hotel on Friday and Saturday nights to sell out crowds on a regular basis. Lionel Peters (Piano), Henry Paul (Double Bass and Percussion), Ricky Pillay (Bass), Morris Joseph (Drums), Brian Pillay (Guitar and Danny Pillay (Alto Saxaphone). Dennis Green, Henry Paul, Dennis Pillay, Morris Joseph and Brian Pillay.
